Abstract

The text in front of you is not intended to accurately and comprehensively describe the development of online study at DOBA, and I would like to highlight some memory points for some important ideas in it. Also, because these are still considered as the basic ideas and starting points for the development of online education.
At DOBA, we have formulated an online study strategy adopted at key DOBA bodies. We have decided on the most demanding model of distance learning combined with e-learning, for fully online supported learning - online learning without a physical presence between student and professor. Through comprehensive student support and modern pedagogical approaches, we ensure high student activity, achievement of goals, competences, learning outcomes, and modern assessment and assessment of knowledge.
During the study we provide students with pedagogical, organizational and technical support. Students are accompanied by professors and online tutors. The role of the latter is primarily motivational; students are available 24 hours a day seven days a week.
The online study model at DOBA puts us side by side with online study models that are regarded as the most imaginative and quality on a global scale. It was designed in response to the need to enrich and increase the accessibility of the educational space in Slovenia, to respond to the needs of individuals for greater flexibility, individualization, quality of their knowledge and competences, to support lifelong learning and, last but not least, to bring global trends into our space.
