Koncept pametnih mest na Mauritiusu

V članku avtorji obravnavajo poznavanje in udejanjanje koncepta pametnih mest na otoku Mauritius. S pomočjo izvedbe fokusnega intervjuja z izbranimi investitorji na Mauritiusu so avtorji članka preverili, v kolikšni meri je koncept pametnih mest prisoten pri njihovih investicijah in v kolikšni meri so investitorji seznanjeni s konceptom. Raziskava je pokazala, da vsi udeleženci fokusne skupine pametnim rešitvam ne pripisujejo velikega pomena. Pri svojih investicijah ne upoštevajo pametnih rešitev, hkrati pa je za vse udeležence pri investicijah najpomembnejši donos in ne vpliv investicije na družbo in okolje. Pametne rešitve so po njihovem mnenju velikokrat povezane z višjimi stroški in če se ti stroški ustrezno in dovolj hitro ne povrnejo, jih investitorji ne sprejemajo.
