Povzetek

Zaradi škodljivih vplivov stresa na posameznike in delovne organizacije je v sodobnem času ključnega pomena uspešna regulacija delovnega stresa pri zaposlenih. Čuječnost (nepresojajoče, sprejemajoče zavedanje svojega doživljanja v sedanjem trenutku) se je izkazala kot učinkovito orodje za spoprijemanje s stresom. Žal so klasične čuječnostne intervence časovno razmeroma zahtevne, kar zmanjšuje možnosti njihove aplikacije v kontekstu delovnega mesta ter izpostavlja potrebo po kratkih, a učinkovitih čuječnostnih tehnikah za regulacijo delovnega stresa. Namen pričujoče pilotske raziskave je bil preučiti uporabnost in učinkovitost kratke čuječnostne tehnike STOP (katere izvedba traja le eno do dve minuti) za neposredno spoprijemanje s stresnimi situacijami pri delu. Udeleženci so tehniko sedem dni izvajali ob stresnih situacijah na delovnem mestu. Kvantitativni rezultati so po izvedeni tehniki pokazali pomembno zmanjšanje neprijetnosti pri zaposlenih ter povečanje njihovega prepričanja o svoji zmožnosti spoprijemanja s stresno situacijo. Kvalitativni rezultati pa so širše osvetlili uporabnost in delovanje tehnike v povezavi s stresom na delovnem mestu. Tako je mogoče zaključiti, da je tehnika STOP uporabno in potencialno precej učinkovito orodje za regulacijo delovnega stresa.
