About the Publisher
The publishing activity of DOBA University of Applied Sciences is closely connected with its online study model. The online publishing house is modern, digitally oriented, and primarily intended to support online learning and the publication of research results, with a central role given to e-learning materials and an open-access scientific journal.
The main goal of DOBA Publishing is to support the educational process, scientific research work, and the dissemination of knowledge within the profession. Its fundamental mission is to present the scientific and professional achievements of DOBA’s higher education teachers and researchers, as well as other authors who are in any way connected with DOBA.
Publishing is therefore primarily functional — serving students, lecturers, and researchers rather than traditional commercial publishing.
Types of Publications
DOBA Publishing primarily publishes:
• Study materials – textbooks and materials for individual courses, usually in electronic form and accessible to students in the online learning environment.
• Scientific monographs, professional monographs, and conference proceedings presenting research results and intended for the wider professional and academic community.
• Journal International Journal of Innovative Business and Management (Mednarodno inovativno poslovanje), published since 2009. It is an open-access journal that serves as a platform for academics, researchers, and students.
DOBA Publishing annually publishes 1–2 monographic publications and 2 issues of the journal.
Articles (and some monographs) are assigned DOI identifiers, ensuring their permanent accessibility and international visibility.
As an open-access publisher, DOBA Publishing actively contributes to the accessibility of knowledge and the academic community. Monographs are freely accessible and available to users through the COBISS PLUS online portal.

DOBA Publishing strives to distribute knowledge and research achievements to the widest possible audience; therefore, publications are published in open access. Our monographs use:
